Privacy
In short: you can play every game without an account. We don't ask for your name, email or age, and we don't use tracking cookies. Your best scores stay on your own device.
Who runs this site
oddbit.games is a small independent project run from Norway. Contact: [email protected].
What is stored on your device
Each game saves a few small values in your browser's local storage so they are there next time you play. They never leave your device and we can't see them.
| Value | Why |
|---|---|
| Your best score in each game | To show your record and "New best!" |
| Sound, screen shake and text size settings | To remember your choices |
| Your best score in today's daily run | To show it on the Daily button |
| The date of your last visit | So the anonymous counter below can tell "came back today" from "new today" without any ID |
You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
What our providers see
Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, its servers receive your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages, and keep short-lived logs for security. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which games people play. It uses no cookies and does not build a profile of you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Anonymous play counter
To learn which games people enjoy, each game adds 1 to a daily total on our server when something happens, for example "a ski jump was played" or "a cat result was shared". The message says only the game and the event. We don't store your IP address, an ID, a cookie or your browser details with it; we keep only the totals per day.
Sharing your score, challenge links and clips
When you press Share, your device's own share menu (or clipboard) gets a short text and a challenge link. The link holds only the game's random seed, your score and, for the ski jump, the moments you pressed the button, so a friend can play the same run and race your ghost. It holds nothing about you. It goes only where you choose to send it.
Replays and saved clips are made on your device. A clip is only shared or saved if you choose to; we never receive it.
Children
The games are suitable for all ages and collect no personal data from anyone, including children.
Ads
There are no ads yet. If we add them, we will update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is usually nothing to access or delete. If you have a question or concern, email us at [email protected]. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority (in Norway, Datatilsynet).
